As people are, so are their angels. Consider, for example, one particular Charlie Chaplin in a skirt. His – or in this case her – angel is no different!

     A Woman and her Angels is a modern-day Christmas saga that reveals events which took place, or, at least, might have taken place in those climes where the mythical Greek gods are always at hand. The land where Zeus was born just a stone’s throw away, up in the mountains. Where Aphrodite emerges from sea foam at night to share her beauty with the twinkling stars. It is a place we know by the name of Crete, the cradle of civilization, where every man and woman in every town is an actor by nature and design.

     Our woman and her angels embark on a journey through time. Sharing all the same habits as her earthly charge, a magnificent young She-Angel is always running ten minutes late no matter what business the Boss entrusts to her, thus making it possible for her “client” to break free of her sad, daily rounds, and escape into the great, big world of life!

     As for love – where would we be without love? – it gives our heroine the strength to find her way back to those she loves, that is, her friend the Italian poet, her friends at her favorite hair salon and local cafe, her beautiful dog Cora, and her husband who has devoted his entire life to her, no less and no more!

     Even our heroine’s He-Angel – no matter how busy he is writing a dissertation – finds the time to come to the rescue on earth, setting off emotional fireworks on a roof terrace, and enjoying a delicious plateful of Christmas spaghetti!
